Slow website? Fix the vitals.

Diagnose and repair the Core Web Vitals Google actually scores: load speed, interaction delay, and layout shift.
Measured before. Measured after.

Core Web Vitals are the three things Google measures to decide if a page feels fast: how quickly the main content loads, how fast it responds to a tap, and whether the layout jumps while it loads. Fail them and you lose both rankings and the visitors who give up waiting.

Most slow sites are slow for a handful of fixable reasons: huge unoptimized images, fonts that block the page, heavy plugins, and no caching. I find which ones are hurting you, fix them, and measure the result.

What I fix

Largest Contentful Paint

The main content made to appear fast, by fixing the images, fonts, and render-blocking code that delay it.

Layout shift

The annoying jump as a page loads, eliminated by reserving space for images and embeds.

Interaction delay

Taps and clicks that respond immediately, by trimming the heavy scripts that freeze the page.

Image optimization

Modern formats, right-sized and lazy-loaded, often the single biggest speed win on a local site.

Caching and delivery

Proper caching and a fast edge so repeat visits and far-away visitors load quickly too.

Before-and-after proof

Real Lighthouse scores measured at the start and the end, so the gain is documented.

Where local sites land

Average mobile speed across the 96 sites Lighthouse returned a score for: 61/100. By platform, the rented ones graded out at a D, an F, and a C. Custom code averaged 94 on mobile.

If your site is in the 60s, you are normal for the area, and that is exactly the opening. Fixing the vitals moves you ahead of nearly everyone you compete with locally.

Questions

How do I know if my site fails Core Web Vitals?

Run it through my free audit, or I will. It shows the same speed, accessibility, SEO, and security scores Google sees, on both mobile and desktop. Most local sites are surprised by the mobile number.

Can you fix my site, or do I need a rebuild?

Often I can fix the site you have: compress images, fix fonts, add caching, resolve layout shift. If the platform itself is the bottleneck, a rebuild may cost less long term. The audit tells us which.

Does speed really affect my rankings?

Yes. Core Web Vitals are a confirmed ranking signal, and speed also affects whether visitors stay. A faster site ranks better and converts better, especially on rural mobile connections.

Will you prove the improvement?

Yes. I measure Lighthouse scores before and after, so the gain is on paper, not just a promise.
